Medieval Treasures from the Glencairn Museum

Through March 31

Experience our medieval collections like never before alongside exquisite treasures from Glencairn Museum. Located in Bryn Athyn, just north of Philadelphia, Glencairn houses exceptional works of medieval art and architecture. During their renovation, explore selected works on loan from their collection.

Highlights from this special installation include Spanish ivories, architectural sculpture from southern France, and a celebrated stained-glass panel from the Abbey Church of Saint-Denis outside Paris. Explore the fascinating stories and artistic processes behind these artworks, and discover connections to the permanent works on view in our medieval galleries.
